Sanará Pilates is a trading name of G L Pilates Ltd (Company No. 16601511). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all classes, memberships, private sessions, and services offered by Sanará Pilates in-studio, at external locations, and online. By booking or participating in any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. General

1.1 These Terms apply to all services provided by Sanará Pilates (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”).

1.2 By booking or attending any class or session, you confirm acceptance of these Terms.

1.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

1.4 All prices are subject to change. Price changes will not affect existing prepaid memberships but may apply upon renewal.

1.5 Clients must complete our health questionnaire before attending any class or private session.

1.6 Children are not permitted in the studio during classes and may not be left unsupervised at any time.

2. Bookings & Cancellations

2.1 All classes must be booked through our online booking system and paid for in advance.

2.2 Payment is due at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods are listed on our booking system.

2.3 You may cancel or reschedule a class up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time without charge.

2.4 Late cancellations or no-shows will result in: – Loss of class credit (for credit-based memberships or class packs) or Strike fees for Unlimited memberships (see relevant membership section).

2.5 Sessions are non-transferable and may only be used by the named client.

2.6 Except where required by UK consumer law, all purchases are non-refundable.

2.7 We may cancel or reschedule classes, substitute instructors, or modify the timetable as necessary. If we cancel a class and cannot offer an equivalent alternative, a replacement credit will be issued.

2.8 Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class start time. If you are 10 minutes late or more, you will not be permitted to join for safety reasons.

2.9 We reserve the right to close temporarily for holidays or operational reasons.

2.10 We aim to maintain a minimum provision of 15 classes per week during periods where unforeseen circumstances may occur.

2.11 Membership freezes may be granted for medical or unforeseen reasons at our discretion. One freeze may be requested in any 12‑month period (minimum 1 month, maximum 3 months).

2.12 An induction session is required before attending Reformer classes. If you decline this, you do so at your own risk.

2.13 Grippy socks are required for all Reformer sessions.

3. Memberships & Class Packs

3.1 6-Month Unlimited Membership

  • Limited to 10 new sign-ups per annual period (Nov-Oct)
  • Includes a 14‑day cooling‑off period from date of purchase.
    • If paid upfront, the first month is non-refundable and in this instance, we will refund the balance 5 months to you, a total of £1000.
    • If you have opted for payment in 3 monthly instalments, the first month remains non-refundable, we will cancel the remaining two instalments and refund the difference of £200.
  • Minimum contract term: 6 months.
  • Written cancellation notice required at least 2 weeks before the end of month 6.
  • No refunds for early termination outside the cooling-off period; access continues until month 6 ends.
  • Unused classes cannot be carried over, refunded, or exchanged.
  • Class availability is not guaranteed.
  • Cannot be shared.
  • Strike system for late cancellations/no-shows:
    • 3–4 late cancellations/no-shows in a month: £30 fee
    • 5+ late cancellations/no-shows: £10 fee per additional incident
    • By joining this membership, you authorise Sanará Pilates to charge any relevant to the payment method stored on your LegitFit account at the end of each month.
  • Membership benefits may change at our discretion.

3.2 Monthly Memberships (Including Reformer & Mat Combo)

  • Class credits must be used within the month of purchase.
  • Classes can be booked up to:
    • 8 weeks for the Monthly 16 membership
    • 4 weeks in advance for all other memberships
  • Written cancellation notice is required at least 2 weeks before the next payment date.
  • Cannot be refunded, shared, or exchanged.
  • Unused classes (including those missed due to illness or holidays) cannot be carried forward.
  • Classes may be cancelled up to 24 hours before start time.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows result in loss of credit.
  • If we cancel a class and cannot provide a replacement in the same month, a free class credit will be added for a later month.
  • Class availability is not guaranteed.
  • Membership benefits may change at our discretion.

3.3 Class Packs

  • Booking available up to 4 weeks in advance.
  • Cannot be refunded, shared, or exchanged.
  • Validity periods:
    • 10‑Class Pack: 14 weeks
    • 5‑Class Pack: 7 weeks
    • Single Class: 2 weeks
  • Unused classes cannot be carried forward.
  • Cancellation permitted up to 24 hours before class start; after this, credit is lost.
  • If we cancel a class and cannot offer a replacement within the validity period, a credit will be added for later use.
  • Class availability is not guaranteed.
  • Benefits may change at our discretion.

3.4 Reformer Induction

  • Required for new clients before attending Reformer classes.
  • Cannot be refunded, shared, or exchanged.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows result in loss of induction credit.
  • If we cancel the induction and cannot provide a suitable alternative within its validity period, a replacement credit will be issued.
  • Any accompanying “free gift” is subject to change.

3.5 121 & 221 Private Sessions

  • Can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the session start.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows are charged at full price.
  • For 221 sessions, if one client does not attend, the attending client is liable for the full price.
  • Sessions are not transferable.
  • If you arrive late for your booking, the session time will be reduced and will still finish at the scheduled end time. No refund will be given for the reduced session time.

4. Health, Safety & Liability

4.1 Health Disclosure

  • Pilates involves physical activity with inherent risks.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to participate.
  • By attending, you confirm you have consulted a medical professional or have chosen to participate without such consultation.
  • You must inform your instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, surgeries, or changes to your health, including pregnancy.
  • Instructors are not medical practitioners and cannot diagnose or prescribe treatment.

4.2 Liability

  • We will not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in classes or attending our premises, except where caused by our negligence.
  • We remain responsible for maintaining safe equipment and a safe environment.
  • Clients participate at their own risk in relation to ordinary exercise‑related injury.
  • An induction session will be offered before attending any classes. This session is designed to help you become familiar with the principles of Pilates, review health and safety guidelines, and discuss any relevant medical information. If you choose to decline this induction session, you do so by your own informed consent and at your own risk.

5. Pregnancy Policy

  • Pilates is generally safe during pregnancy but requires specific modifications.
  • It is not recommended to start a new form of exercise if you have not already been practicing prior to your pregnancy.
  • Our group classes are not specifically tailored to pregnancy.
  • If pregnant, you must attend a £15 1:1 pregnancy induction session before joining group classes. Contact us directly to book.
  • During this session, instructors will assess your readiness for group classes.
  • If you have not previously practised with us before pregnancy, we may restrict you to private sessions for your safety.
  • Any advice provided relates solely to Pilates instruction and does not replace medical advice.
  • If clients have any concerns regarding their medical status whilst pregnant, they are advised to consult their GP before attending any group or private sessions.
  • Clients participate during pregnancy at their own risk.

6. Personal Belongings & Studio Conduct

  • Personal belongings are brought to the studio at your own risk.
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
  • The car park is used at your own risk.
  • Children are not permitted on the premises unsupervised at any time.
  • Children are not permitted in the studio at all when classes are running.
  • Respectful conduct is required at all times. We may refuse entry where safety or welfare is at risk.

7. Data Protection

  • We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.
  • Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and use your data.
  • By using our services, you agree to the processing of your personal and health information as necessary for service delivery.
